Time travel, inquisition

I think a lot of what would mean traveling to the past. I think it's harder for women, thinking about how the things were for us for a long time. Undoubtedly, the previous times weren't the bests for women, who have been acquiring rights and guarantees through the years. Guarantees that have allowed us to live a little more in peace. 

Neverthless, i would like to travel to Europe, to the times of the inquisition, to fight with all popular beliefs about the women and their bodies, thougts and aspirations. 

In the inquisition, women lived terrified, fearing every day for their lifes, and for their kids lifes too. They lived with the hope of never doing anything reprehensible enough to be tortured at death, and i think that is horroryfic and unacceptable. 

I would also like to fight with the beliefs of women being profane, or witches, it wouldn't be easy, i woud probably end up dead, but at least i would try.

I definetly wouldn´t stay there, in fact, i think that i wouln't last a second in this epoch. But it fills me with courage to think of all those lifes taken by the church. I appreciate living in an era where women begin to take our place in this world, and i hope in the future we can reach the equality.
